Wishin’ and Hopin’

During the month of January, I’m trying to be a good little girl & not break the bank on unnecessary beauty purchases. I can feel my resolve headed out the window, though, so I thought I’d put together a list of “wishes” and hope I don’t make them realities! No promises, though!

Ever since I heard Leigh Ann (from Leighannsays) talking about the Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer in her 2012 faves, I’ve really wanted to give it a try (I know chocolate bronzer isn’t a new thing…but it is a delicious thing)!  // My skin is super dry and I’ve neglected it greatly so I’m curious about the Almond Oil products from L’Occitane, they seem so comforting for my poor, unappreciated skin!  // After I included the YSL Rouge Pur Couture in my Best of 2012, several of you reminded me that the L’oreal Colour Riche Caresse Stick Lipstick is supposed to be a dupe. Now it’s all I can think about, so thanks for that. // MAC have just released their Conceal and Correct palettes and they look right up my alley.  // Finally, I am just about to be suckered into Glossybox because they’ve done a collab with The Man Repeller (one of the few fashion blogs I read daily). So, if you’d like me to review that for you, let me know, because I may just be willing to oblige!

What Products are Tempting You These Days?

  1. I see two things that are on my wish list as well…the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer and the L’Occitane Almond Oil. It would be particularly nice to find a nice matte bronzer that works with my fair skin and it would be an added bonus if it smells like chocolate, just saying.

  2. I just got done discarding a bunch of stuff and organizing what remains… so, of course, that means I want to go out to buy more, right away! I’m dyyyying to get my paws on the BB cream that Annabelle put out a few months ago, as well as a couple of nail polishes that I really don’t need. I’ve been hankering after Sally Hansen’s Pacific Blue for months now, and I spotted an appealing shade (something called Well-Heeled Grey by Misa) at my local Winners. I’m feeling sorely tempted, but at the same time, I’m trying to save my money right now, and even though everything I want is a cheapie, it all adds up.
