I purchased the Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint in Fiery right around Christmas and it has quickly become a favorite. It sits comfortable on the lips and while I wouldn’t strictly call it a matte lipstick, it wears like a matte finish. I find that it lasts a good 6 hours on me if I blot after applying it. It doesn’t dry lips out but I would recommend applying a little balm over the top if your lips are extra dry. The thing I love most about this lip color is the packaging. I have really grown to love the crayon style applicators – they are super convenient for re-applying on the go!

I keep debating whether to splurge on this. I am a sucker for matte lip products though, especially in red.
