FICTIONAL FEMALES: ELPHABA

Some days I like to pretend I’m a celebrity stylist. But instead of a Pat Field/SJP relationship I envision something a bit different. More like a stylist to the fictional stars. Meaning, I find myself seeing something like these shoes and thinking, “Oh, those would be amazing on Cinderella”.

Recently, The Boy and I were able to go see Wicked on tour. I’ve wanted to see this show for years – ever since I read the Gregory Maguire books. Can you imagine what it would have been like to see Idina or Kristin?! That said, and because it’s October, I thought it would be perfect timing to visit the ever-inspiring verdigris of my favorite Witch of the West, Miss Elphaba Thropp.

  1. Yet another reason I know you and I would be best friends.I do things like this all of the time and one of my biggest regrets is missing Idina in Wicked.I have seen her in concert 3 times in the past 2 years and she is amazing so if you ever get the chance to see her you really should go.My husband is taking me to see the Addams Family next week at the Kentucky Center .That was my favorite tv show as a kid and I guess that explains a lot.

    • Oh my gosh…I was a Munsters fan as a little girl, haha! I would LOVE to see Idina! And have so much fun at the Addams Family – that sounds like the perfect Halloween treat! x
