Earlier this week I yammered on about developing your own unique sense of style and not worrying too much about trends. Well, just in case you haven’t quite figured out your inner style chick (or you just want to pick up a few additions to your already rad one), I thought we’d spend a bit covering some of Fall’s hottest trends. Move over Mr. Boring Pants; today is all about the colored trouser.

If Summer brought with it a plethora of brightly hued pants, you can bet Fall is looking to follow suit. To transition into fall, choose heavier twills and denims and opt for shades of pumpkin, emerald and sapphire.

Not feeling so brave? Pair plum or olive trousers with a chunky knit sweater for a classic look.
